Taking up the writings of Louise Glück and Mahmoud Darwish, this essay (re)searches place potential a transnational, Edenic imagination as vision belonging amidst alienation modern life. Where transnational poetics rejects ossified borders boundaries, seeking porosity imaginative possibilities that work across, around, through, in-between, an embraces consciousness simultaneously holds holy memory alongside longing for transcendence; so too do these ways reading seeing refract in art-making I attempt seek invisible web connective, human tissue present poetic renderings Eden by Darwish. As forces modernity, colonization, globalization maim sever, gives language location to our thirst sacred inhabitance. method inquiry, such invites both researcher reader dwell liminal space poetics.
